FAQ
From soundcheck to encore,
here’s what you need to know.
About The Experience
Our recording experiences are designed for everyone aged 7 and above – whether it’s your first time in a studio or you’ve been performing for years. Every session is tailored to suit confidence level and experience.
All our experiences happen at Powerhouse Studios in Addlestone, a professional working studio where big names like Brian May, Peter Andre, and Rick Astley have recorded.
It’s a fully equipped, industry-level recording environment run by experienced producers and sound engineers. You’ll be recording in the same space used for real commercial projects – so it’s the genuine article, not a themed setup.
Absolutely. Each session includes a dedicated producer who’ll coach, record, and mix your performance – helping you sound your very best from start to finish.
The minimum age is 7, but there’s no upper limit! We’ve had everyone from young singers to entire families and work teams take part.
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. You just need to redeem it within that time – even if your actual session takes place later.
Booking and Guests
Once you’re ready, simply get in touch by phone or email with a few preferred dates and your song choices. We’ll confirm availability and final details to lock in your recording day.
Of course! Just let us know in advance so we can prepare the right setup. Extra singers or musicians can be added for an additional cost.
Yes – you’re welcome to bring spectators along. To keep the session comfortable and focused, we allow up to four guests unless arranged otherwise in advance.
Definitely! Feel free to capture the moment – we just ask that you check with your producer first so it doesn’t interrupt recording. We also offer a professional photo package if you’d prefer polished shots taken for you.
Parties and Group Bookings
Yes! You’re welcome to bring snacks, sandwiches, and a cake for the celebration. There’s a dedicated area for food and drinks between takes, and we simply ask that you tidy up before you leave.
We recommend bringing your own food where possible, as deliveries can interrupt the flow of your recording time. Many groups prefer to enjoy a meal before or after their session instead.
Definitely — if you’re stuck for ideas, drop us a message and we’ll share some of our tried-and-tested favourites that work brilliantly for group performances.
That’s totally up to you! Most groups find it best to sing together for the main sections, but if you’d like to assign solos or individual lines, just let us know beforehand so we can plan it smoothly.
